Outlet shopping, Kate Spade, and a Dole Whip
Today was just about perfect. Shopping at the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets and 60% off at Kate Spade, a coveted Dole Whip (dairy and gluten-free) in said outlet mall, time by the condo pool, an evening shuttle down to the Strip, and a really darn good late supper at Pantry in Mirage. But first, more about my SUPER CUTE new Kate Spade bag. . . It's a tote so plenty of room to carry lots of stuff and it has two interior pockets and comfortable shoulder straps. Did I mention the flamingos? Yeah, bright coral and looking saucy. LOVE IT. I know it will go with everything and, it was 60% off!

Road trip to Vegas the last push to Sin City
Today we made our final trek into Vegas. Before heading out of the St. George area we drove a few miles out of town to check out Snow Canyon State Park. There is a cool (free) scenic lookout a short distance from the entrance so we pulled off there for a quick look-see. If I were a geologist I could get all sciency and explain the chain of events it took to create the red rock combined with white rock and the flat canyon bed covered in scrub brush. Mom and I both agreed that we expected to hear the screech of a pterodactyl overhead and see a few dino's lumber through the valley. It really is worth the 10-minute drive if you are ever in the area.
